Filter Criteria

Contact Extractor uses certain search operators to narrow down the search and locate specific emails:

Available Filter Options​

Filter OptionsDescription
Gmail Folder(s)Select a specific Gmail label from the dropdown or choose the ‘All Mail’ option.
FromSearch for emails sent by a particular sender(s).
ToSearch for emails sent to a particular receiver(s).
SubjectSearch for emails containing specific words in the subject line.
After DateSearch for emails received after a particular date
Before DateSearch for emails received before a particular date.
Advanced OptionsUse advanced search options to filter out emails. See Advanced Options.
Extract SourceSpecify the message fields you want to extract email addresses from. See Extract Source.
Exclude DomainSpecify the domain you want to exclude from the search criteria

Filter Task

Example Filters​

  • Extract email addresses from the label Contracts.
  • Extract email addresses from emails with a subject containing "Monthly Report".
  • Only extract email addresses from emails received after January 1st, 2025.

Use precise filters to avoid downloading unnecessary email addresses. You can verify the entered details using the search query.
