Convert Currency using Addon

Select Currencies​

To begin your conversion, open the currency converter sidebar by clicking the icon $ in the right-hand sidebar and:

  1. Choose the "From Currency" - Use the dropdown to select the currency you're converting from (e.g., USD, EUR, INR).
  2. Choose the "To Currency" - Select the currency you want to convert to from the second dropdown.

The converter supports 80 global currencies, updated daily to reflect accurate exchange rates. See the supported currencies.

Enter Amount​

Once you've selected your currencies:

  1. Navigate to the "Convert Amount" field.
  2. Enter the numeric value you want to convert (e.g., 100).
  3. Click the "Convert" button.

The add-on will instantly calculate and display the result under the "Converted Value" section.

Understanding Results​

In addition to the converted amount, you'll also see helpful reference rates such as:

  • 1 USD = 1.29 SGD
  • 1 USD = 1.29148 SGD
  • 1 SGD = 0.7743 USD

These details give you quick visibility into the latest exchange rates and conversion accuracy.

tip

When entering the amount, ensure you use only numeric values. Do not include currency symbols (e.g., $) or commas.

Please note that the sidebar supports only daily rates, not past dates. For past dates, use our conversion formula in Sheets.
