Set Sheet Default Model

GPT Mate allows you to choose a default AI model for your Sheets formulas. This model determines the performance, response speed, and capabilities of the AI outputs in your sheet.

How to Set Your Default Model:​

  • Open a Google Sheet
  • Go to Extensions > GPT Mate for Sheets > Open App
  • Click the home icon in the sidebar and go to the Sheet Default Model section
  • Select your preferred model from the dropdown. See supported AI models.
  • Click Save to confirm.

  • This model will be used automatically if you don't specify a model in your formulas.
  • You can change your default model anytime in Settings.

Use different models for different sheets as per your requirement.
