Sheet Setup

Before you start using GPT Mate in your Google Sheet, you'll need to enable GPT Mate for the current spreadsheet. This setup ensures that:

  • GPT functions can be used within the sheet
  • All collaborators (editors) can access GPT features without needing to reconfigure anything

How to Set it up?​

  • Open your Google Sheet
  • Go to Extensions > GPT Mate for Sheets > Open App
  • In the GPT Mate sidebar, click the home icon and go to the Sheet Setup section
  • Click the Enable button

Once enabled, GPT Mate is activated for the spreadsheet, and you’re ready to start using GPT-powered formulas, prompts, and tools across your data.

Once you enable the add-on in the sheet, all other users with access to the sheet will be able to use GPT Mate. Please note that all users will use the credits from the owner’s account.
